Android Privacy PolicyThis privacy policy applies to the Student Driving Logger app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Akash Pulinthanathu (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".Information Collection and UseThe Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as* Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
* The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
* The time spent on the Application
* The operating system you use on your mobile deviceThe Application collects your device's location to enable its core features.* Automatic Trip Logging: The Application collects location data to automatically record your driving routes, distance, and duration even when the app is closed or not in use. This is necessary for the hands-free "Seamless Auto-Tracking" feature.
* Analytics: Aggregated location data helps the Service Provider identify trends and improve the Application's performance.
* Local Storage: Your specific driving routes and heat maps are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to the Service Provider's servers.
* Third-Party Services: Periodically, the Service Provider may transmit anonymized location data to external services. These services assist them in enhancing the Application and optimizing their offerings.The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.If you contact the Service Provider via email, they may use the information provided to respond to your inquiry and provide support.For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain information, such as location data for drive tracking. The information requested will be retained on your device or used for support as described in this privacy policy.Third Party AccessOnly aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. This data is processed and stored strictly locally on your device's internal storage and is never transmitted to the Service Provider's servers or shared with third-party advertising or analytics services.
* Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics help the Service Provider identify trends and improve the Application's performance.The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.The Service Provider may use the information you provided via support communications to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices, and updates.In-App PurchasesThe Application offers an optional In-App Purchase to upgrade to a premium, ad-free experience. All financial transactions are processed securely by Apple via the App Store. The Service Provider does not collect, access, or store your credit card or financial details. Upgrading to the ad-free version completely ceases all third-party advertisement displays and associated ad-network data processing.Third Party AccessOnly aggregated, anonymized usage data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service.
